The nature of this project was to create at 10-15 second ident for VIZ Media. Doing this ident called for a stylized, high-energy product, as they license Japanese comics and cartoon shows that can be very dynamic.

In showcasing the diversity of content VIZ Media licenses, this “nostalgia rewind” encompasses characters from many the different types of shows in addition to the various time periods when the original comics were published. The style is minimalist and flat, using vector-based artwork and the vibrancy of the colors highlights the memorable features of the characters.
