Hello, my name is Moira Burke, often going by MoMo. My passion crosses the platforms of motion graphics, filmmaking, and photography- having a Master’s in Motion Media Design and two undergraduate degrees in Visual Effects and Film & Television from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Encompassing design for 2D, 3D, and live action successfully into a piece with a strong message behind it is a very high achievement I always strive to unlock.
Having had been one of the internal designers, prevue included aiding in project managing the creative production from briefing to delivery, while ensuring brand consistency of Inspire Brands, Buffalo Wild Wings, Arby’s, Sonic, Rusty Taco, and Jimmy Johns across all internal digital content. Working directly with outside vendors as well as various internal departments in creating and developing custom content, ranging across multi-media platforms including photography, videos, and motion graphics/animations.
Several day-to-day duties had included photographing employee head-shots or capturing marketing assets for upcoming promotional campaigns, creating and animating digital signage for company events, filming and editing videos for internal communications, and aiding in the overall creative direction for digital content for national and worldwide conferences.
I always try to challenge myself as an artist by creating new perspectives that will encourage and inspire others. Finding new means of expression, my work extends through different mediums including film, visual effects, photography, and even the occasional comic strip. Making sure no stone is left unturned, I continuously work on to better myself as a motivator and as an artist.
Working both on and off set, I have learned what goes into a compelling story. From my time in pre-production to post, I take into consideration the intricate beats of a moment. In creating those moments, I value strong collaboration when working on a project. Firmly believing the most creative ideas are produced by communication, teamwork, and thinking outside the box. The most innovative structure starts off with a solid foundation contributed by everyone.
